Writing or Selling Call Options Limited Profits, Unlimited Risk!?
http://www.financial-spread-betting.com/ PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO SO WE CAN DO MORE! Why Sell a Put (Unlimited Risk) When You Could Buy a Call?
What happens when you sell a Call Option?

Selling Call Options. Selling Call Options is obviously different from buying Call Options but there is a distinct difference in the outcome depending on how you're positioned. Buying a Call Option gives you the right but not the obligation to purchase a specific stock at a specific price at a specific time in the future. If you sell a Call Option you are taking the other side of the deal. With a Call Option you have unlimited upside and capped downside (maximum amount at risk is the price you have paid for that option). if you take the other side of that trade you theoretically have unlimited risk. If you sell a Call Option you have Limited Profit and Unlimited Risk. Why would you want to do that? You are basically getting the premium that the buyer pays for that option. The good thing about this is that even if the price of a market doesn't move you still get the premium. Why would you sell a call option in the first place? You would sell a call option if you're bearish on the underlying and bearish on volatility

What does it mean to write a call option?
Writing an option is akin to writing an insurance contract. You’re in the position of the insurance company. You (the insurance co) sells (writes) a call option and receives a premium from the buyer of the call. In exchange for the premium, the writer takes on the obligation to sell the underlying asset at the strike price if the buyer of the call exercises.

The buyer of the call will exercise if the strike price is lower than the asset price (option is in the money). Most brokers won’t allow a client to sell a call without also owning the stock in the same account. If you sell a call against stock you own, that's called a buy-write.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
