South is Bushmills and the old Bushmills Distillery. What more could anyone ask for? A population of less than 800 people - and the wild Atlantic Ocean crashing in... The famous name given to this beach in county Antrim is Portballintrae but it is also locally known as "Runkerry Bushfoot Strand" and "Blackrock", which in addition to being a beautiful beach to head out to, it is also one of the beaches which gained a scientific interest due to its geological area.
