Portballintrae - Beautiful Beach Village in County Antrim Video

Home
Rain or shine - Portballintrae is a beautiful place! I am working on moving there someday :-)! It has the Giants Causeway walking distance to the east and Dunluce Castle to the west. South is Bushmills and the old Bushmills Distillery. What more could anyone ask for? A population of less than 800 people - and the wild Atlantic Ocean crashing in... Runkerry Beach is the beach itself -
there is the Hotel Bayview Portballintrae in the town also.

The famous name given to this beach in county Antrim is Portballintrae but it is also locally known as "Runkerry Bushfoot Strand" and "Blackrock", which in addition to being a beautiful beach to head out to, it is also one of the beaches which gained a scientific interest due to its geological area.

Runkerry is one of the best beach systems that could be found all around Ireland and one of the most interesting for the waves and the currents that it has, as well as the attractive scenery and the natural history of the place.

In addition to the interests found in the place itself and its entertainment system, this place has a location which we could refer to as the most perfect and that goes to the fact that it is close to different important touristic attractions which tourists usually place in their list of places to go to.

To the east of Portballintrae and within a walking distance, there is the famous Giant's Causeway which was formed from an ancient volcanic eruption and is now one of the most famous touristic attractions to be found in Northern Ireland - you will definitely find it among the recommended places there (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nAnV_Isw4I).

To the south of Portballintrae is Bushmills town which is also another location for tourists to visit and check some of the attractions which are found there (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neoDFRpzfFA) and one of these different attractions, Bushmills Distillery is considered the most famous and the one which tourists usually head to (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTeje9zaee8).

These different things located just beside Runkerry beach gives the visitors the chance to check some of the other important locations and attractions found in Northern Ireland when they are done - or vice versa - but their trip will not end up being about the same place and about enjoying the beach only.

The nearest town to this bay is Portballintrae and that is one reason why it is usually referred to it with that name. Runkerry Bushfoot strand is under a mile long on the northern side of the Bush River mouth which is popular for surfing (it is actually one of the best and the most famous surfing beaches in the UK for its strong and high waves), walking, and dolphin watching - this means that you could enjoy lots of things at this beach area that comes in addition to the walk which you are going to have by the shore.

We know that when it comes to choosing the beach that will suit your interests and criteria, it will change from one person to the other and that's one reason why you will find one person liking a place you never love to be found in and hating another which you love to enjoy your time at. When it comes to Northern Ireland and the different beaches which are scattered all around the country, there are those which we will recommend and which we consider them our favorites; so in addition to Runkerry Beach in county Antrim, there is also the Crawfordsburn beach in county Antrim as well (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiF8buS7aqc), another option is the Ballywalter beach with its sandy shores and the perfect quality of water (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSggCwH9JgE), the Whiterocks beach in Portrush, county Antrim, is also a recommendation we would give to those searching for a beach they could enjoy their time at (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAhHuzdZeTs), and there is the famous Ballygally beach which is located just beside the Ballygally Castle Hotel in county Antrim and which lots of people tend to visit for being one of Game of Thrones locations that they are trying to go to (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9vbXC2cI0g).

Choosing the beach in Northern Ireland will depend on your current location and what is the closest to you, not only that, but choosing it will depend on the kind of activity you might be aiming at. The only negative thing about the beach in Northern Ireland is the unexpected weather, so you will need to take your precautions and you might get up in the morning surprised that your plan is ruined!

Runkerry in Portballintrae is a beach to try out and which you could also enjoy lots of things located around it - just make your plan and go check the place.

Definitely when planning a visit to Northern Ireland, Portballintrae should be on the places to visit and discover. The amount of things to do in the area is excellent.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
