Knowing how to deal with criticism means knowing how to see beneath behaviors to the emotions, needs, and possibly fears driving them. Remember, only hurting people hurt people, and usually it’s those who’ve been harshly criticized that have learned to criticize you. Have compassion. Choose to be the bigger person and allow it to grow you...not because of who they are, but because of who you are.
