Today is Tuesday 8th March 2016 and we are briefly commenting on the announcement today revealing China’s 25% fall in exports.
Many Asian, European and World stock markets have suffered losses today of around 1% as a result of the latest poor economic data emerging from China, showing a 25.4% fall in annual exports.
The disappointing trade figures showing the largest fall for 7 years were released just days after leaders sought to reassure investors that the outlook for the world's second-largest economy remained solid.
The world faces a growing “risk of economic derailment and needs immediate action to boost demand”, the International Monetary Fund warned.
