Ulster Museum - Botanic, Belfast houses multiple mini museums. One is fully focused on History - the "History Zone". In this the exhibition covers everything from Ancient Egypt and its mummy's, Stone Age and Dinosaurs all the way through more recent Irish History.
The Nature zone of the national history museum offers loads for kids and adults. There is also a view into the Spanish Armada Ship and Girona Spanish Armada. From Egypt - you will find Princess Takabuti - making this an excellent history museum to visit for bringing several things from different cultures and countries.

The art section in Ulster Museum holds fine and applied arts of national and international significance. The museum in this section holds more than 15,000 historical and contemporary artworks that include painting, sculpture, works on paper, glass, ceramics, silver and metalwork, jewelry, furniture, costume and textiles.
The third section that Ulster Museum in Belfast offers for its visitors is the one that is related to the natural sciences and in this section there are more than half a million specimens from Northern Ireland and beyond, giving the visitors the chance to get introduced to lots of things through this one visit they pay to the place. Ulster Museum is located in the Botanic Gardens in Belfast and it is considered the largest museum in Northern Ireland. The museum opened back in 1821 and began exhibiting in 1833 and along the journey of the museum, it was closed for a couple of years - nearly three years from 2006 to 2009 - in order to make some renovations to the place and thus opened back to the public in its 80th anniversary.

The entry is free and opening times tend to be 10 am to 5 pm , 7 days a week. There is loads to see - so a few hours to near a full day - depending on how deep you go.
