IVF First Monitoring Scan Follicle Count And Lining Check. I've been taking my IVF stims for three days by myself. I am taking 150 iu of Menopur and 450 of Gonal - F every evening. Today is my first monitoring scan to count my follicles and check my endometrium lining. I'm excited and nervous, not quite sure what to expect. I know the findings potentially set the tone for the remainder of the IVF stimulation phase. I started with seven (7) follicles at baseline. Have they all grown? Have ANY grown? Must keep calm. I got up early and exercised to take my mind off of things and I have full day of work, so that should help keep my mind busy while I wait for the phone call with the blood test results this afternoon. TGIF!
