Having his inspiration from his parents and elder brothers, Shahid Baltistani noha started with a new Album in 2001 titled "Ya Zahra A.S." which gave him tremendous recognition all over the world. "Ya Zahra A.S." was a blend of Masaib and Istighasa (Dua) which was later copied by one of the famous Rectors in 2002 and onward.

He has worked as a senior Media Planner and head of Media Buying for Manhattan Leo Burnett and Starcom respectively.
