Moving Forward With Egg Retrieval? I knew something was really wrong yesterday when two of my follicles went missing. Was it the fever? I am now down to 3 follicles and my E2 is questionable as to if all three have a mature egg. IVF at 47 with my own eggs was ALWAYS a long shot. I've prayed for progress, not perfection. I wasn't ever going to get more than seven eggs, so is having three the end of the road? What are the odds that I would have more next time if we cancelled this cycle? God has the last say, right?
