Produkowany we Francji Yaris dostępny jest nie tylko w Europie, ale też w Afryce, Ameryce Północnej, na Bliskim Wschodzie i w Azjii. 3. generacja przeszła właśnie kosztującą 90 milionów euro kurację odmładzającą, w wyniku której zmieniono około 900 części. Zmiany zewnętrzne w odświeżonym Yarisie mają na celu podkreślenie jego atletycznej budowy i niskiego środka ciężkości. Do tego 15 lub nawet 16-calowe felgi. Generalnie Yaris ma wyglądać bardziej sportowo. Oprócz przeprojektowanych elementów z przodu i z tyłu, nowych kolorów lakieru i wzorów felg, kosmetycznym zmianom poddano także wnętrze, gdzie pojawiły się nowe tapicerki i kolorowe elementy wykończenia. Wszystko po to, aby wewnątrz było bardziej nowocześnie. Niektóre elementy wyposażenia dostępne są teraz także w niższych wersjach.
