We have been to the Killyhevlin Hotel to meet Steve from the Lakeside Bar & Grill who got us informed with different recipes for several alcoholic cocktails which they prepare or which might be even known worldwide - they are easy but isn't it always interesting to get served with them in a bar for the way they serve it at the end?
There are different cocktails which one could choose from out there - and there are even those non-alcoholic which are chosen for drivers as well - so one will get different options to choose from and if you are a fan of alcoholic drinks already then you surely know of most of these options found out there.
At the Lakeside Bar & Grill, we got the chance to know how some of the cocktails should be prepared - we were given tips - and one of those different things being prepared, Steve the bartender shared with us the way he prepares the cocktail called "Killy Kiss".
To prepare this alcoholic cocktail, first of all one will need to bring and prepare the glass and after that he/she will move on with filling the shaker with ice. These are the two first steps that should be almost taken while preparing any alcohol cocktail out there. After putting the ice cubes inside the shaker, 45 ml of Tia Maria (coffee liquor) will be added and then followed by 25 ml of tequila. Like preparing any kind of cocktail drink out there, this should be shaken very well until it is ice cold before serving it - which was exactly what Steve has done. After pouring this mixture into the glass, it will be simply topped off with adding lemonade to the mixture.
To finish this drink in a beautiful way - which is the reason why I always believe that being served with such drinks outside home is always a better idea =) - you could garnish it with blackberry, raspberry, or even adding them both together on top of the glass and then add mint leaf right next to them - now the cocktail is ready to be served.
Let's all agree that even if some bars tend to prepare some famous cocktails out there, there are still some better than the other and that is exactly why when we need to have a good day or need to change our moods to the better, we make sure that we are choosing the right place before we settle on the right drink. We have to admit that choosing the Lakeside Bar & Grill was a good thing - although of course we were not able to try all these drinks =) - but the way Steve was preparing them in front of us made us believe so.
It was not only the Killy Kiss that we were lucky enough to know its ingredients and the right way for it to be prepared, but there were other cocktail drinks which Steve showed us the techniques of preparing them.
From those other cocktails, we knew how to prepare the Cosmopolitan cocktail (

What also caught our attention at the place is the brands they might be serving. One of the examples was the Irish beer brand which they serve the people with, called Inish Mac Saint (
