Whiskey Snapper; Mixed Drinks & Cocktail Recipes for Whiskey Video

A Whiskey Snapper Cocktail - how it is made via the amazing Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel and Lodges in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. We are shown how they make a tasty Whiskey Cocktail. Check them out via their website https://www.killyhevlin.com/

As much as we enjoy the part that comes to tasting those different cocktails and drinks, we also feel different when we see how they are prepared and at the same time be given the recipe along with the different tips that might be needed in order to serve these drinks in the most right way possible - which was exactly the way it happened at the Lakeside Bar & Grill in Killyhevlin Hotel.

Steve - the barman at Lakeside Bar & Grill - was actually patient and kind enough to let us follow up with his preparation stages and even mention the ingredients he is using in order to prepare the drink we are informed about. From the different things we have watched him bring out to life, we came to this point where the Whiskey Snapper was the next in line and we decided that getting to know more about the recipe would be a plus.

We know that when it comes to the alcoholic drinks it is all different and that is the reason why we are taking it all serious and we are searching for those places which could serve those kind of drinks differently or at least serve those good tasting ones.

Among the different recipes for the alcoholic drinks that you could choose from out there, there is the whiskey snapper and this is created out of three different ingredients; Jameson whiskey (35 ml), Disaronno (25 ml), and cranberry. Like all the other alcoholic cocktail drinks that could be found out there, this should be shaken in the shaker with some ice until it is ice cold. To serve this correctly, you will need to crash the ice cubes and then pour the mixture over - this is the whiskey snapper!

It just takes a couple of minutes to prepare the cocktail drink which you are going to enjoy, but on the other side, it might take a very small portion of a specific ingredient which is not placed in the mixture or else one that is placed wrongly, to ruin the whole drink for you, so always choose the right place and most importantly make sure you are choosing a good cocktail out there as well.

While being on this informative trip where the first purpose behind it was to know more about some recipes used to prepare specific cocktails, we were introduced to some other drinks in addition to the whiskey snapper, we got the chance to know how the cosmopolitan drink is prepared and what the ingredients used in it are (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3RC7PFgHso), we were also lucky enough to know how the Lakeside Bar & Grill prepares the brandy Alexander cocktail (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1TeQkKYSYc), and we got the chance to taste two different local alcoholic products, which are the Irish beer brewed in Fermanagh and which is called Inish Mac Saint (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTHcoz8TU9k) as well as the gin that is named Boatyard double gin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjEFNtL8yOI). The most important of all is caring about those who are not willing to drink alcohols for any reason out there, like having to drive back home for example, and that is why Steve told us also about the Cinderella mocktail drink recipe which is placed among the alcoholic drinks but which is not, but still manages to deliver the same feeling that alcohol tends to deliver (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWHXY_7MLNk).

Truth should be told: it is really interesting to go inside bars in order to try out different drinks and cocktails and then refer them to people - yes, we enjoyed that a lot. The journey of exploring different drinks did not stop at the Lakeside Bar & Grill but we also went to two other places in Belfast; the first is The Spaniard in which Michelle learnt how to prepare the dark and stormy cocktail that is mainly made with dark rum (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LyOve1LyNk), and the second place was Muriel's in which we ordered the Elderflower martini and then followed it with the espresso martini (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW16KcZFSBA) - we were amazed in all places and with the different drinks and cocktails we were offered.

Whenever it comes to choosing a drink, make sure you are giving yourself the time to settle on something different - and sometimes new will be also needed - because that is exactly the way you are going to enjoy yourself, make your day, and at the same time end up trying something new for the first time.

We are still looking forward to finding out new places, visiting them, and trying out there different recipes for the cocktails in order to bring our experience and suggestions back here to you.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
