http://www.problemio.comIn this video I explain what is a cash flow statement, and how to do cash flow analysis and why it is so important when you are starting your business. Keep in mind that cash flow analysis is not the same as loss and profit analysis because some of the items that you would itemize in the two different lists are different.
Many people get turned off from doing their cash flow analysis because it sounds so intimidating. But the math is actually pretty simple. There are no complicated formulas. And performing cash flow analysis is very helpful and useful. It gives you a sense of where the money in your business is going out, and how it is coming in.
Of course, cash flow analysis and the cash flow statement are very different for a business that has not started and one that has started. For mature businesses, you usually need an accountant to help you understand you work through your cash flow analysis. But if you are a small business, or are working on a business plan for a business which has not started, the cash flow analysis and the cash flow statement are relatively simple.
But for either case, the cash flow statement should exist so that you have a good sense of the finances of your business. I always encourage young entrepreneurs to know what is a cash flow statement, and to actually create their own cash flow statement so that they get a good sense of the financial picture of their business.
Additionally, if you are trying to learn what is a cash flow statement and how to do cash flow analysis because you are looking to write a business plan, I created mobile apps that help you write a business plan and guide you through starting your business.
The business apps I created are available on Android's GooglePlay, the App Store from iOS, and the Kindle app store. Here are the links:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cash_flow_statementOne common mistake that I see people make on my business planning apps is that they get intimidated by the financials of the business plan. They especially get intimidated by doing their cash flow analysis. Creating the cash flow statement is not only intimidating, but it is also a defense mechanism not to create one because often the entrepreneur does not want to face some financial facts. But sooner or later, the truth catches up with everyone. So I recommend that people perform their cash flow analysis early, and maintain a cash flow statement and frequently update that cash flow statement.
The cash flow analysis statement is also very useful if you are wondering how much money you will need to start your own business. Here is the blog post for that:

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. π₯
Origins of the Idea π±
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. π§
Challenges Faced π€
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. π
Creating Truly Random Links π οΈ
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube πΊ
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. π
Content and Users π΅
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact π€
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. π
