Lost Google Pixel Phone found underwater while scuba diving.
Gotta love river treasure hunting when you find working Google phones in the river and return them to their owners... π¦
You never know what you're going to find on your next treasure hunt, especially when you go scuba diving and hunting for river treasure here in Central Oregon.
On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, our team set out to scuba dive with 25 other PADI divers and 200+ volunteers for the 22nd Annual Deschutes River Cleanup Project here in Central Oregon.
It didn't take long before finding a goldmine of treasure like the Google Phone lost 3-weeks earlier.
Not only did I find a Google Pixel phone, but it still worked and we were able to return the lost Google Phone to its owner.
Also found sunglasses, metal, golf balls and even an old whitewall tire from the 1950's. Personally pulled 300+ pounds of garbage out of the river. ... γ½οΈ
At the end of the day, even if we had not found a goldmine of treasure on our river treasure hunt, we'd still feel good about all of the garbage we removed from the river in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. π
