Der originale USB-Stick wird eingelesen und auf der Festplatte oder SSD zwischengespeichert und dann wird der neue USB-Stick eingesteckt, auf den dieses Image kopiert werden soll.
Dieser Ziel-USB-Stick muss genauso groß oder größer sein, so dass das Image 1:1 auf diesen kopiert werden kann. Ist das Kopieren beendet, dann kann man von diesem neuen USB-Stick booten, genauso wie vom Original.
So könnt Ihr Linux-Boot-USB-Sticks kopieren, Windows 10 oder Windows 7-Installationssticks und auch normale Sticks mit Daten und Programmen.

Beachtet, dass USB-Sticks mit der gleichen GB-Angabe trotzdem unterschiedlich groß sein können. Beispielsweise können zwei 4GB USB-Sticks unterschiedlich groß sein, wie im Video zu sehen. Dort ist ein USB-Stick ca. 82MB kleiner als der eines anderen Herstellers.
