Feeding wild rare turtles with watermelon and apples Video

Home
During our visit to one of remote Bahama’s island we found inland blue hole and in that hole we discovered very cute and rare Caribbean turtles. We didn’t have any treats with us at that moment. We return next day with some fruits and vegetables. We were amazed by the fact that turtles love bananas, watermelon, apples, pears and cabbage.
When we were searching for blue halls we discovered one small cave filled with fresh water and to our surprise we found here very cute turtles. In the beginning they were running and hiding from us. But we had some treat for them like watermelon and bananas and we have to show them that otherwise, whatever we thrown in the water will go directly to the bottom of the cave missing the turtles. So we used fishing rod to earn the trust. And we had success turtles slowly becoming our friends and start taking treat from our hands. They called Jamaican slider or Cat island slider, because 60% of the entire population of them live on Cat island. Turtles conservation status is under concern and population declining due to loss of fresh water habitat area. Human activities and strong hurricanes contaminating fresh water ponds with salt water. Another treat is invasive red eared slider turtles. It is strictly prohibited to bring to Bahamas or keep it as a pet. Lucky by that moment no red eared slider was recorded on Cat island. Turtles omnivorous they were looking at my finger like they want to try bite them. Natural turtles predators dogs, cats, Hawks, raccoons. We feel that local people probably feed these turtles and probably show them to some tourist, it was suspicious how fast turtles they started to trust us. Actually it is impossible to find any information about this place and other places on the island on internet or fliers. Everything we discovered ourselves. #turtle #turtles #caribbeanislands #catisland #travelvideo #traveltheworld

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
