　俳優のケイン・コスギ（40）が16日、都内で行われた主演のハリウッド映画『ニンジャ・アベンジャーズ』（3月28日公開）来日記者会見に出席。同作で自己最高の体脂肪率4％と身体を絞り、撮影に臨んだケインは、「食事制限もあって、結構大変でした」といい「ダイエットでアジア人のキレのある身体を作った。パーフェクトボディ！」と役作りを振り返った。

　同作はケインと、ハリウッドのアクション俳優、スコット・アドキンスとダブル主演。ケインは、スコットが演じるケイシーの兄弟子・中原役を演じており、激しいアクションに挑戦した。ケイン主演のハリウッド映画が国内で公開されるのは、8年ぶり。

　ケインは、スコットについて「すごく動けるし、筋肉もある。筋肉の大きさでは勝てないので、キレのある動きでトレーニングに臨んだ」といい、食事は野菜や鶏肉が中心で、炭水化物を抜いたダイエットを約2ヶ月間も実施した。司会者から「（仕上げた身体は）パーフェクトボディですか？」と聞かれると、「パーフェクトボディ！」と笑顔をみせた。
