We went fishing, caught the bait, rent the boat and went to one beautiful Caribbean beach, where large coral reef line breaks the shore line and very deep water. So the fishing supposed to be great, But fishing didn’t work. Coral fish keep stealing bait from the hook, besides they came so close to the beach begging for more. We decided to do some snorkeling. How big was our surprise when fish started to take bait treat from our hands. That was an unusual friendly interaction between swimmers and wild fish. They are not aquarium fish and they live on the coral reef in the open ocean. Normally, coral reef inhabitants keep a safe distance from swimmers and hide themselves in the corals. In this case, one brave fish took some bait from my hands and her behaviour signalled to everyone that it was save. And a whole bunch of different fishes came to share the feast. Fish was swimming under our legs, between the hands and even let us to touch them, probably they were busy eating. We feel like they are our really good friends. And it truly feels so good. You will see these fish participating in this feast: French angelfish, Whitespotted filefish, Blue head wrasse, Squirrelfish, Peacock flounder, Bermuda Chub, parrotfish, Clown wrasse, Puddingwife fish, Sergeant major fish, Trigger fish, Striped parrotfish and others coral reef fish. Even nocturnal Spotted Murray fish came out of the day ambush to take fish head drowning on the sea bottom.
