Почему остров Кэт, возможно, был назван в честь Артура Кэтта, пирата, одного из близких друзей известного английского пирата Чёрная Борода, плывшего здесь в начале 18 века, или его название может относиться к его некогда большой популяции диких кошек. На острове действительно много кошек. Итак, мы надеемся, что вы посмотрели первую часть, а сейчас мы проведем для вас экскурсию по острову и покажем вам самые интересные места. Административный центр острова - город Артура. Воистину совсем не похож на столицу. Есть кладбище, полицейский участок. Общая численность населения острова около 1500 человек, но меняется в зависимости от сезона. Возле города Артура есть аэропорт, который временно закрыт, потому что он находится в стадии строительства, а строительство на Багамах может занять вечность. Раньше было два действующих аэропорта: один в городе Артура, другой в Нью-Байт.
