Dieses Notebook der Oberklasse kann heute auch nach 15 Jahren noch benutzt werden. Hatte es 2007 noch 3500 Euro gekostet, dann muss es heute nicht im Elektroschrott entsorgt werden. Das Besondere bei diesem Toshiba Qosmio Laptop sind seine zwei Einbauschächte für SSDs oder Festplatten und die Bios-Option, dass man beim Einschalten von der einen oder anderen SSD starten kann.

So kann man ganz ohne Bootmanager Windows 11 und Linux auf getrennten Festplatten oder SSDs installieren und beim Einschalten des Laptops entweder Windows 11 oder Linux starten. Wie im Video zu sehen, läuft Windows 11 nur mit angezogener Handbremse. Linux dagegen ohne Probleme und Linux findet auch alle Treiber und funktioniert mit der Toshiba Multimedia Fernbedienung.

Außergewöhnlich bei der Toshiba Qosmio Serie ist das individuelle Laptop-Gehäuse Design. Der Lautstärkeregler ist prominent installiert und die Stereo-Lautsprecher sind für Gaming ideal. Leider bringt dieses Toshiba Qosmio-Laptop auch 4,5kg auf die Waage.
